MonaVie Welcomes a New Team Member—NASCAR’s Geoff Bodine

Source: MonaVie On The Move

Geoff Bodine, winner of NASCAR’s Daytona 500 (1986), is accelerating MonaVie to new speeds. We recently had the opportunity to interview Bodine in his hometown of Concord, North Carolina. Click below to watch Bodine’s near tragic crash at Daytona in 2000 and hear the series of events that led up to him joining the MonaVie team.

Take me to the Geoff Bodine interview

MonaView Blog Author: Jerry Giebeig -- MonaVie Bronze Executive Comments:

First of all I would like to personally welcome Geoff Bodine to the MonaVie Team. I heard him speak in St Augustine, FL recently -- and he seemed to come across as someone excited about the positive effects that the MonaVie Product has had on his body.

Mr Bodine seems to be a very, very busy business man, with several businesses running at the same time. Some of the businesses Mr Bodine mentioned were, a car dealership business, automobile wax business, and now a MonaVie business.

Now for some of the buzz surrounding Geoff Bodine becoming a MonaVie Distributor:

Well having the name and brand of Geoff Bodine is great in and of itself -- but how does the little guy compete with a sponsoring brand like that?

Some people have even remarked that MLM companies promoting celebrities creates a unfair advantage in the MLM marketplace. I agree -- but also disagree.

Let me give a brief illustration: What if I have a person who contacts me from a web search about becoming a MonaVie Distributor. They simuntaneously do a Google search for MonaVie and find that Geoff Bodine is the newest MonaVie Distributor being promoted personally by the corporation. Would they be inclined as a fan of Geoff Bodine -- to seek him out and register with him personally?

Most likely yes they would -- UNLESS -- they understand this important fact:

Mr Bodine is only humanly capable of personally supporting, training, etc. a certain amount of people. When/if people would consider that important fact, they may come to the understanding -- that being sponsored by someone else, may be in fact -- more advantageous in the long run for their own personal business success.

We have to build relationships one at a time and so do not get discouraged by the rapid advancements and spotlights of industry giants. This would include NASCAR Celebrities such as Geoff Bodine. They have speant years, decades even, -- that sore them to the rank elite ranks of MonaVie.

I can understand these intitial concerns, but challenge people with this food for thought, from my own first hand experience. I was personally sponosored by a celebrity -- and there are advantages and disadvantages as with anything.

Bottom line -- If you do chose to be sponosored by a celebrity, you better be very experienced in MLM, self-reliant and not require much -- if any personal attention and or training. Think about it -- I was personally sponsored by a MLM industry celebrity who is literally building his business on a global scale. He is making more money than I can comprehend. My little home meeting with 10-15 newly sponsored distributors and 5-10 prospective distributors -- probably doesn't fit into his global agenda. His growth scale isn't in proportion -- with the new distributor starting out and needing personal attention and time. Don't misunderstand my message here -- my sponsor is developing support tools, training systems, organizing events, etc. But the fact of the matter is -- that individual, one-on-one training is not available. I am okay with this, because I am very experienced in this industry and I am doing fine on my own -- with the support that is being offered on a mass scale.

I would like to see MonaVie interview the typical person that joins MonaVie and showcase videos on the MonaVie On The Move Website for the masses to relate to. I understand that having Geoff Bodine on the team is good press for the MonaVie brand and for the rest of us all as well.
